Why are parents so self entitled? If their children who weren't asked to be born and live through this shit don't meet up to their expectations, see them as a piece of shit failure. They guilt them by saying stuff like "I make sure to feed you everyday" and "I took care of you for x years and you treat me like this?" as if that isn't their obligation as a parent. If you fail to raise your child in a certain way then you shouldn't have fucking had one in the first place. My parents expect a lot of shit from me, to get good grades, go to college, be successful, have a girlfriend (the latter two will never happen).
Even when I had got a B+ in a high school course my mom would get pissed and rant about her giving up everything to raise a failure, and her asshole family will support her too, saying I'm a dumb/mediocre student. My mom also wants me to go to college and major in something respectable, but I really see no fucking reason to do it since I'll get a degree in something I'll never use in my life, which has happened to people in my family. I have interests in things that would be pointless to major in, too. My dad wonders why the fuck I don't talk about girls or have ever had a girlfriend, when at my age he did, so he thinks I'm gay since I'm also a thin framed manlet who's nonathletic. Since he's homophobic, he has beat me up a few times because of it. Yes I know lots of others here have probably experienced the same and I'm just whining about it like a self centered pussy, but I just don't understand why parents are such dicks. This society expects you to praise your parents when they are the reason for all your problems.
