“Parents must be made aware that a good relationship of trust between children and parents cannot be maintained if children are denied the satisfaction of such urgent needs as sexual ones” - Dr. Helmut Kentler, professor of psychology.
Acquiring social status and wealth is the only way for unattractive men to eventually ascend. However, because we are sexually and socially ostracized, it's difficult not to become demoralized at a young age and become NEETs. Depression is often an inevitable consequence of low social status and of being unable to attract sexual/romantic partners.
In a highly sexualized society where young females are allowed to flaunt their sexuality and to sexually reward and exclude males based on genetic attractiveness alone, it's only to be expected that many incels are already demoralized and depressed by the time they become legal adults. Elliot Rodger was mostly a straight-A student in high school. He was becoming increasingly depressed and alienated from society as a teenager due to the bullying and sexual frustration he was experiencing, but it was only in college that his mental health declined to the point of leaving him with no choice but to discontinue his studies.
Parents are responsible for the mental health of their teenage and young adult incel sons. They are sexually active themselves, but they expect their sons to remain celibate for an indefinite amount of time, failing to understand that it's in their own interest not to subject their sons to prolonged sexual deprivation if they value their mental health and expect them to ever become productive members of society.
In countries like Thailand, it's considered normal for teenage boys to spend the money their parents give them on prostitutes, and the parents are fine with this.
“Professor Vicharn Vitiyasai of Chang Mai University... emphasized that, 'In Thai society, boys begin to buy women when they are around 13 years old; 50 per cent of 16-year-old boys and 90 per cent of university students go to brothels“ (Source)
If if weren't for feminist AoC laws that cucks enforce with biblical zeal, parents in Western countries would be able to encourage their teenage sons to begin visiting prostitutes the moment the reach puberty. While this would not solve their inceldom, it would at least enable them to avoid extreme sexual frustration during their teenage years. Incels who are denied the possibility to have sex as teenagers will likely become increasingly depressed as the years go by, and depression generally causes males to become more psychologically inhibited, anxious and less likely to actually enjoy sex when they finally do have it.
In many historical societies, it was considered the parents responsibility to arrange marriages for their children once they reached marriageable age.
There are also other things that parents can do to help their sons. If a teenage incel has a sister, they can encourage the sister to sleep with him at least occasionally as a reward for him achieving passing grades at school in spite of the bullying and mistreatment he is subject to at the hands of girls and normies. Even though not all teenage boys are interested in sleeping with their sisters, the parents could at least give them them the opportunity. If a teenage incel doesn't want to sleep with his sister, that's his choice, and then his parents can at least say that tried to help him. If he doesn't have a sister, the parents could adopt a young girl and encourage her to sleep with him. If both are minors, and no coercion is used, this probably wouldn't even be illegal, and even if it were, it shouldn't be.
Because most fathers are normies who were able to have at least some sexual success in their youth, they're usually unable to understand that genetics, rather than merit and effort, is what determines sexual success or a lack thereof in a modern environment. The boilerplate normie dating advice worked for them, so they incorrectly assume that it will also work for their sons who completely lack attractive genes. But it's at least theoretically possible for fathers to ditch their bluepilled mentality and to try to understand what their sons are going through and try to help.
The same isn't true for women. Mothers are too emotional and irrational to even conceive of their sons as sexual beings, and they are prone to infantilize them if they show any signs of being socially unsuccessful. It's convenient for them to see their sons as asexual beings who don't need sex. Even on the rare occasions when women are concerned about sons' lack of success with women, they tend to see it as a minor problem that doesn't warrant taking action and certainly not in ways that violate social norms.
Dr. Brian Gilmartin believed that parents should take action when their incel sons are young teenagers. He thought that through psychotherapy and other interventions, it should be possible to help them find girlfriends. He was wrong about the latter because he failed to understand that inceldom is caused by female hypergamy and genetics rather than by pathological shyness, but he was right that parents should do what they can to help their sons while they're still young.
