All e-whores included of course, not just onlyfans. Anyway, I searched up the age old question "why do people pay to camgirls?" and for the last few days I got a bit into the matter. There were all kinds of answers like better quality porn, supporting the artform , a way for lonely people to have fake connection to a person, etc. The much more interesting bit were the answers from interviewees who pay the whores massive ammounts of money in the first place and they were mostly lonely losers looking for someone to connect with. Also, a few months back I was venting away on reddit with a throaway account and the same day I got hit up by several people in the dms at least two of which I'm 100% sure were e-whores. They were shilling their way of "comforting" hard and I promptly told them to fuck off. But the thing is, a lot of desperate and (most likely) mentally unstable people fall into it, looking for some sort of attention/connection. They're perfect targets for these parasytes. Camgirls prey on lonely, desperate and mentally unstable, suck them dry and it's celebrated as liberating and progressive. Not only do these men lose their money, but they also invest their time and energy into toxic, one-way "relationships". Of course, not all e-girls need to actively prey like that to attract an audience, but I'm sure they're not stupid enough to not be aware of who their audience is. No sane well-adjusted person would spend any significant ammount of money on that shit. I'd love it if there were more research on the topic just to be sure how prevalent exactly is this sort of thing.
So what can be done about it? Perhaps it would be too extreme for normiesphere to outright ban e-whoring, but some sort of robust education could be put in place to discourage people from that behavior, like we do with alcohol abuse, gambling and the like. This behavior should also be scolded and criticized on the part of e-whores, instead of it being celebrated.
To lurking normies and ITcels: instead of dismissing this with a guilt by association and ad homs ("creepy and predatory?? Hah! How ironic coming from someone who posts on incels.co!!!"), instead of that, I challenge you to actually engage with the argument. I'd honestly want to be in the wrong here since this is high octane ragefuel tbh.
