OnlyFans reverses porn ban, will allow sexually explicit content

OnlyFans says it no longer plans to ban porn in an abrupt flip-flop that comes after a backlash from sex workers who use the popular platform to sell sexually explicit photos and videos.

It feels like OnlyFans announced the ban starting Oct 1, in order to generate backlashes and outrages from "sex workers" and their paying customers , putting pressure on the banks and credit card companies, and now OnlyFans reverses the ban basically claiming they're doing it due to popular support and to continue to support sex workers

In a statement to The Post, OnlyFans spokesperson Sophia Bernardi said the porn ban is “no longer required due to banking partners’ assurances that OnlyFans can support all genres of creators.” The company plans to send an “official communication to creators” soon.

Looks like the banks told them "yes you can continue to host hardcore porn, no problemo".

Just to be clear, nudes and softcore porn and masturbation were never going to be banned in Oct 1. OnlyFans was going to ban hardcore porn involving sex, and now that ban is cancelled, so everything is like before.

So much for redpill copers getting overjoyed over ethots and the like getting cut off OnlyFans (and most of them are so stupid that they never realized nudes and softcore porn weren't going to be banned anyways)

onlyfans werent going to ban nudes and softcore porn in the original plan anyways, which i believe is their bread and butter. hardcore porn (ones that involve sex) is most likely a relatively small % of their business. the entire outrage is over a misunderstanding of what the ban really was. most people thought sexualliy explicit meant onlyfans were banning all porns including nudes
