These people, be they whores or therapists or w/e other way you can pay people to take care of you, spend countless hours in your presence. They will inevitably get to know you and develope some sort of interpersonal relationship with you, if they want to or not. No transactional relationship is 100% transactional, just like no genuine one is 100% non-transactional. It's always a bit of both, just the ratios are vastly differend.

If you satisfy your social needs, or at least keep them at managable levels, using your money, you can still go out and try to become popular, but you will be less vulnerable because you are less desperate.

Yeah, exactly, that seems fairly non-autistic tbh. I spend almost a decade in isolation and it felt pretty good for the first 5-8 years. During that time there were months without real human contact but it was fine, I had things I was interested in, games, entertainment, specific topic to learn more about (AI, race realism, etc.). It would be extremly difficult and unpleasent for me to surround myself with large amounts of people. It would overwhelm me. I might prefer a few intimate friends who can get used to my peculiarities over loud, chaotic parties with tons of random strangers.
