Boomers, on average, have lower inhibitions than Millennials and Gen Z. Because of this, they are more prone to dislike non-standard behavior and appearance. This is why boomer teachers don’t care if a kid is bullied—they simply don’t care or think it's something normal or "not that bad" (even though it has an extremely negative impact on young people's mental health). A weird kid is getting bullied because they’re different? Well, they shouldn’t be weird, according to them.
When I was in middle school and high school, teachers didn’t care much about bullying. Some of them think that either this is normal behavior or that everyone gets bullied. (Is everyone randomly slapped in the face or hit by rocks? Is that considered normal according to boomers?)
