i dont care about my job but i was competent at it, it's only one of my jobs and streams of income

If you have add, adhd, depression, anxiety, autism etc diagnosis you may also have some degree of protected status depending on your location. As well you're of Asian descent so you may have several affirmative action type arguments you can bring up if you suspect discrimination.
