I started to take antidepressaants when I was 36. Problems with the depression started, too. I started to become really hopeless, no more hope to ascend. My problem was not that somebody else has a simpler or better life but that I cannot ascend at all. I had always more difficulties than others to obtain anything because of my look so I have no problem to work much harder than anybody else.

In a strange way it gets both better and worse.

Better because you learn to cope with it better, also the older you get the less you care.

Worse because you are literally rotting your life away and that time never comes back ever again. At every given moment you are the youngest you will ever be. How my life became worse? Well firstly I got bald which is generally unattractive. Secondly I don't work and I'm in the age where women are supposed to go for older guys because they are ready to settle down so I can offer nothing to anyone. Thirdly being the "old guy" and going back to school is not cool, it's just another source of depression when the young girls there run around and you have to look at them all day.

Maybe one day soon they can do hair cell cloning so you can fill up the head again... would be nice, but that would require money for sure. Even a small hair transplant isn't cheap for someone like me who don't work.
