But isn't it a responsibility of the father to know and understand his son in the first place?
It's a question he knows no one will ask. Why would they? That would require empathizing the situation more intimately and honestly than for what most people can be bothered.

Not sure about his solution, the mental health industry is an industry setup to keep people from getting better so they keep coming back for more sessions. I know people that have spent alot of time in therapy, and they are definitely more weird and dependent on therapy because of it.
