For them, people capable of independent thinking just don't exist. Since they were programmed to support the "current thing" by mainstream propaganda, then it must mean that everyone else is under the control of propaganda too.

In their logic, people with opinions different from those of the NPC hivemind didn't reach those conclusions by themselves, but instead were conditioned by le bad Russians/Chinese/Iranians/North Koreans/whatever into believing the "wrong things".
