Reminds me of when a uni professor completely randomly asked me if I'm from some Buttfuck, Nowhere region of the country because I have the "accent" of that.
Reading the dude's reaction, I'm 99% sure that's what mine was like in the professor's POV. Glaring at him wondering wtf did he just say and where it came from, maybe a bit forcefully correcting him because I have no idea how to even react having never had people randomly ask me that and not even being aware that something like that might be asked of me, and then awkwardly interacting with him for a bit because I have no idea how the dude perceives me, or even reality itself.

From what I understand, though correct me if wrong since I mainly know European genetics+antrho, but aren't the Chinese essentially a very mixed populace of Asian groups? As in, the Han identity is a very broad & superficial one, which has been utilized to unite the region/country.
Only on the census, I've seen some & met a few to know that they are not treated as White or perceived as such.Arabs are white in the US
I once did however meet a guy who was fair-skinned for an Arab, but his eye-area, nose, and just everything was a dead giveaway.

Yeah there are multiple ways on how to enrage people like that. Ask women online if they are jewish because they have such jewish looking features. It pisses them off immensely because everybody knows jews are ugly people (big noses, short receeding chins, weird foreheads, sickyl pale) but at the same time they can't right out say it because of muh anti-semitism. You just know it will bother them a lot deep down they all want to be aryan princesses.
Pointing out that med people often look like arabs and stuff like that works like a charm too. Anything that has a truth to it but is unpleasant will enrage the normie.
All of thise also shows you that there is a strict inherent race and looks hirarchy despite all the normie virtue signaling. No one wants to be brown or something like that. The more nordic/germanic, the better. No one colours their blond hair black after all or uses mud-brown contact lenses over their blue eyes. That's all the proof you need, really.
