It's one of those typical movies, like a patriotic sports movie, where the protagonist had ONE goal to get gold and BEAT RUSSIA, and the film set everything up-- and he just loses at the end ,and the film became a total downer, yet for some reason they decided to make a spinoff series of that character where he does nothing with his life and every episode is like a pretentious realist art movie.
It's like a movie where the character was supposed to get on the bus, but he missed the bus, and he spends his entire life waiting for it, knowing it will never come back. Its exactly like being an expendable animal not selected to be in Noah's Ark, and you're constantly trying to stay afloat.
