Lately I have given zero fucks about being polite to anyone except at work. I also have stopped taking others into consideration and as long as I am not breaking any laws I don't give a fuck about anybody else.

No more hellos to the supermarket cashier or the gym front desk employee. No more polite smiles. No more holding doors for people, I will open it for myself and let it slam. At the supermarket today some guy who was holding 1 item asked if he could go in front I just flat out said no. Shopping around for some clothes and that annoying employee comes up to me with a smile and asks if she can help and I just completely ignore her, she's dumbfounded and asks "Sir?" "Sir did you hear me?" and I just keep doing my thing completely ignoring her.

It feels so great when people give you a forced polite smile and they expect you to the same but you just keep looking at them with a serious face.

It's liberating really. All that shit is exhausting. I still have to be a polite fag at work but that's necessary.

You actually should understand that a lot of people don't respond well to kindness and see it as being weak. I know because being nice is ingrained in me for whatever reason.

The times I've done what you posted, I feel people have respected me more or had to react back with kindness. Problem is I can't do this for long before I catch myself going back to being Mr. Pussy Nice Guy. Most people are rude anyway and have no manners/decency.

It really is liberating when I get into those moods. I wonder if there's medication I can take to remain in that mindset without reverting back to worrying about what other's think and shit.

You evolved to crave approval. Eventually, a terror will creep in from the deepest parts of your character.

Can't go against programming without eventually crashing the machine.
