I was inspired to create this thread after seeing this comment:

Normies can understand something only if it happens to them.

This is exactly how normies think. EXACTLY this. They don't understand abstract logic and can't see individual events in context. They can only understand what they experience RIGHT NOW. They are basically like children.

A textbook example of this was given by the guy from the Sanity4Sweden youtube channel a while ago where he talked about how some guy he knew got redpilled about immigration after seeing a video of migrants behaving like animals. Not because he had not already heard people point this out a thousand times, but merely because he got to actually SEE it. This is because normies don't respond to abstract facts like numbers or data. It doesn't matter if you give them statistic that show migrants are 10x more likely to rape than natives. But if you SHOW them something, then, and ONLY then, will they be receptive. This is because normies are basically adult children who don't have any reasoning skills. And the elites are taking maximum advantage of this. It's also why almost all advertisement is designed to take advantage of normie mentality instead of giving an objective list of reasons for why they should buy the product. 90% of selling a product is good marketing that takes advantage of normie stupidity.

Thankfully China will be there to pick up the pieces after the western world has committed suicide.

It's not this simple. Normies CAN change their minds when they actually SEE or EXPERIENCE things things that contradict their own views. But purely abstract logic like numbers, statistics, data etc is something that doesn't effect them in the slightest. Normies are not receptive to logic that they can't emotionally relate to. This is why they are so easily fooled by the elites. Just throw some misleading but emotional bullshit in front of them and they will support you. No logic required. The "only women are emotional garbage" is also just that. Garbage. Most men are exactly the same but just merely in different ways. I suspect that this is all because of biological determinism. People are just living machines. Normies don't think. They just respond.

Genetics. A small minority of people for some reason simply have greater self-awareness compared to normies and thus can see the world for what it is instead of lying to themselves. There are also probably good looking people who are also blackpilled but don't come to forums like this.
