If they’re giving advice to Norman’s, then they lack the empathy of circumstances that not only befall Norman’s, Stacy’s and chads. It’s not right to become a motivational speaker: what kind of god complex do you have if you go around telling people your story and offering advice to people who are not in the same circumstances? It baffles me how people say ‘work hard’ or ‘get a better job’ it’s not that easy. Especially when the economy has changed so much and continues to do so with rapidly accelerating technology like apps which make it easier to do things yet unnecessary. If Chads and Stacy’s and Norman’s just wanted us to be happy they would stop using the internet altogether. They would demand the bankers who caused the 2008 recession pay back all of the damage caused, they would demand diversity in the form of job opportunity. I’m sick and tired of hearing meditation experts and wellness experts: I could do that job, it doesn’t take much to do that job and these people make six figures. No wonder they’re well and happy!
