Not a serial killer, but a mass killer.
To be a serial killer they have to kill at least two people with a cooling off period in between.
To be a mass killer they need to kill three or more people within the same crime.
A spree killer is the in-between, many murders, quick succession, see Philipp Jablonski or Andrew Cunanan.
Sometimes serial & mass murder overlap, see BTK/Dennis Rader and the Otero massacre, Richard Speck, Werner Kniesek or Bundy in his final days with the Chi Omega massacre.
Todd Kohlhepp is the best example for such a case.
Watts is only a one time family annihilator/mass murderer, unlike Terry Rasmussen who had families with multiple women & killed them/the children if he saw better options.
And Chris Watts is a chadlite at least. But truly ugly SKs/mass shooters still receive love letters though.
