I went to my college orientation today, it was fascinating how quickly normies make friends. They made us go into randomly selected groups and did this twice and yet after 20 minutes of meeting each other, they were all talking loudly and speaking to each other as if they knew each other for years, and half of them were from out of state. Meanwhile I went to a highschool not too far away from the college and didn’t get any chance to have a conversation with someone and get to really meet them.

I've seen people circumvent this lying contest normies play by being a dealer. Instead of "I went snowboarding in the rockies blah blah blah," they say "what you need?" Lol what? It's clear you've gotten some really bad info. Last I checked, there was a severe unemployment problem for lawyers, and I didn't hear any news that it subsided. Medicine is undergoing a legitimacy crisis with that whole covid vaccine thing, I wouldn't want to be 8 years away from an MD right now.

Econ sucks. Law sucks. Medicine sucks. Engineering or trades, that's the way to go. I'd bail out if I were you, especially if you don't have to pay anything yet.

This. Tech is good if you were born early 90s at latest. I made a lot of money in tech during COVID period because so much more work was fully remote so I could get hired without the employer realizing how short I am. Way harder to cheat the system now.
