It's possible. Anti-longevity people may end up being correct too. It's unclear how the human psyche would react to living so long. I wouldn't be surprised if there was massive depression among long lived people once their normal lifespan of growing up, finding a mate, raising kids, etc. was done. What keeps you going? You could go back to school and do it all over again, but why bother, especially if you have savings to keep you going. Want to be married to the same person for 1000 years? I'm all for learning the answers to these things, but it might turn out to be a disaster.
