i used to think that the biggest thing separating men was basically how capable they were of defending themselves in hand to hand combat, how tough/brave they were, and how capable they were of fighting physically.

put simply, i actually kind of used to have a dichotomy of men: "pussy"/cowardly men that couldn't fight and tough/brave men that definitely were capable of fighting. and i actually believed before that the men that were the manly and tough ones were the ones that were effortless getting women :bluepill: :redpill: (i actually can't tell whether it's a blue or red pilled belief now). but yea, upon getting black pilled i realized that both these men are cut from the same cloth.

Normies with high status rarely fight physically.

yup. why would they need to fight anyway if they have no problems with women and probably ascended already.

now that i think about it, the majority of the ppl i've come across that were into martial arts and fighting were celibate

I’d say height is a big symbol for toughness for men that attracts women. Obviously taller guys are at a huge advantage in a fight and more capable of protecting her and that generates attraction

haha symbol for toughness only for low IQ foids probably. any guy knows that it has little correlation, and in fact may be the opposite.

that's why there's that quote "it's not about the size of the dog, it's the size of fight in the dog".

Almost any foid will prefer a taller guy. You know how hard manlets have it in dating. Where else would that natural attraction to a guy who is bigger and taller come from other than for him to protect her and the offspring. Being taller gives you a much farther reach in fighting and bigger limbs are just better for fighting

Manlet cope, the % of people who have fight in them is generally very low.

There is a certain point where height has diminishing returns obviously, but you are retarded if you think manlets aren't a joke at fighting.

yes yes i know. i think my point is that it has no relation. you can be a toughest guy on the planet and be a manlet

Nope.

Weight classes exist for a reason

Exactly. Even if to a degree the manlet has a better center of gravity, and may be quicker, that won’t do shit if you can get picked up and thrown to the ground. I rather have mass and height with better reach than be a manlet.

Agreed. But that’s also usually in part because they tend to be taller Kek.

hmm, i think you conflate toughness for being the bigger(and better) fighter.

toughness to me, and i think a lot of other ppl is about the mind rather than the body. it's about being mentally able to be resilient to pain, brave, and pretty much unafraid of pain.

i think your version of tough is about being the bigger guy and being able to beat down a smaller guy. it's a misnomer though, because it takes no toughness for a bigger guy to beat down a smaller guy. in fact, in such a situation you'd think the tougher guy would be the small guy for taking on such a lopsided challenge(because yes, everyone knows how much weight/size matters in a physical fight).

You literally defined toughness as “how capable they were of defending themselves in hand to hand combat, how tough/brave they were, and how capable they were of fighting physically” in your post. Being bigger will always make you a better fighter.

But also being bigger will make you more tough mentally. You don’t have to be as afraid of much and are much more likely to believe in yourself

ah i see. probably a bit of a mistake on my part. yea, i do see your point on being bigger will = tougher mentally. but i still do definitely think there are smaller guys out there that are just as tough.

off the top of my head, the first guy i think of, who may be not as well known is a muay thai fighter called Rodtang Jitmuangnon. i'm sure there's a ton of other tough as nails short thai guys that fight though. but yea, i've seen some of his highlight reels, and dude just absorbs shot after shot and is unphased by it.

i messed it up in my OP, but that would be my true definition of toughness. being able to absorb punishment and continue fighting. like in the rocky movies, "it's not about how hard you hit, but how hard u can get hit and keep on going".
