A northern California woman will not serve any time in prison for trying to drown her newborn baby after giving birth at a McDonald’s restaurant more than a year and a half ago.
According to The Mercury News, Sarah Jane Lockner was placed on four years of supervised probation and ordered to complete parenting classes. Authorities say Lockner was a cashier at a McDonald’s in Redwood City when she gave birth in a bathroom during her shift in September 2017.
