I miss the days of overly complex rpgs that took skill and knowledge to actually beat.
almost every "rpg" to come out in the last 10+ years is just a press button = win or a fast travel bonanza with no real exploration. it's kind of sad to be honest how terrible the genre has become...
I still believe morrowind is the best rpg to come out, no shitty quest markers and no terribly invasive hud. all you had to go off of was a book that you summarize quest information and a rough map.
the amount of lore and world building alone rivals any modern game.
