It's my biggest problem. It hurts the most because if you watch them from afar you can see how they react to guys who look good enough, not just chads. They gaze up at them lovingly.
The thing is men don't treat women in this way, that's why it's disgusting. If an ugly, average or pretty girl walks past men would not look at her with disgust or roll their eyes in repulsion or look right through them like they didn't exist.
If women think you are good enough they will look at you to either let you know they are interested and then if you look back it confirms you are interested so it boosts their ego. Even if the guy is not their "type" or they are well aware the guy is above their looks league, it still gives them validation if a good looking guy is looking back at them. It's these very interactions that create confidence in men.
If they don't look at you it's because they are not interested or validation from you means nothing or is actually negative to them. They are also worried that you may think you have a chance with them if they look at you.
The above is the truth but people will try to convince you of all sorts of shitty reasons why this is happening such as:-
- They may know/recognise the guys they are looking at
- It's in your mind, nobody looks at people, they are just going about their business
- They are nervous/scared to look at you because you are staring at them
- It's because of your confidence, posture, demeanour, body language etc
- It's nothing to do with the way you look (the backup plan because it's devastating for a close friend or family member to admit the opposite to you)
