Nintendo games aren't that good compared to other games. They're praised for being Nintendo.

In the past Nintendo deserved the praise they got. They were once very high quality and polished. Nowadays, I don't think people genuinely praise Nintendo for quality, as much as they praise Nintendo for being Nintendo.

Pikmin 4 is a good example of a game that's borderline shovel ware. The AI in it are worse than the AI in Pikmin 1. The game auto locks on to all enemies which removes any skill. There's so many problems with it. Yet, it received a ton of praise and awards. Why? Because it was Nintendo.

What do you think would happen if elder scrolls 6 was Skyrim but with a few extra areas and dungeons? I guarantee you that people would give the game bad reviews. Yet TOTK is basically just a more polished BOTW with new content and it's praised.

You can't tell me that Mario Wonder (an ultra generic and overly easy platformer) is highly regarded for anything other than being a Mario game.
At this point Nintendo is living off their legacy vs actually establishing new benchmarks.

I like Kid Icarus, Almost all Mario games and all Zelda games. There’s no Nintendo game I played who I genuinely think are bad, you’re just growing out of them.

Nintendo games are lifefuel for Kids and manchilds because they’re made for that age group and they get naturally boring when you grow older.

No, I'm not growing out of them. I can revisit a random Nintendo game from the DS or Wii era I never played and have fun. Modern Nintendo games are genuinely undercooked and lazy.

mario and zelda are simp simulators because you go and rescue princess who cuck and friendzone you.

metroid is pro-feminist, foid empowerment propaganda.

star fox is just furry thunderbirds starwars.

kirby is a game series for fags and little girls.

pikmin and F zero are alright though.

They killed F-zero to spam shitty Mario Kart sequels/remasters for $60 forever.

Majority of modern nintendo games would get laughed at if not made by nintendo

I don't agree, the game has some very difficult sections for hardened players looking to complete it 100%, I'm thinking specifically of a bonus world included in the game with a more consistent difficulty. It's true that if you speedrun the main content, the game is easy, but what's great about Nintendo is that they design their games to be accessible to all levels of players, so that they can actually finish it without offering a frustrating experience and some additional content for experts.

I absolutely despise this game design philosophy. It's infected everything now including Monster Hunter. I'm not playing through hours upon hours of mediocrity for one decent challenge. I already did it for 3d land and regretted it

Just have moderate difficulty like Super Mario Galaxy

The collectibles to be found in each level of the game offer an extra challenge, such as the 3 coins and the prodigy seeds. There are also badge challenges that offer moderate difficulty. Then again, it all depends on how you exploit the game's features.

Argeed. Even shit like Pirate Yakuza mogs Nintendo switch entire game catalog for me.
