Ffs, shonen itself is a genre for boys, the word "shonen" even translates to "young boy" in japanese I think.

Manga is a medium that comes in different genres and settings, it has shit loads of strong, independent foids for that jap to relate to.
Or better yet, they can create their own manga and create their own fucking characters rather then complaining about other manga lacking what they want to see so bad lol.
