Nigga, we NEED to get into game development. I have never coded in my life before, but I hope to one day make a Metal Gear Solid clone. There's no other game quite like that series.

Though, there might be a "resurgence" with MGS Delta coming out and Kojima working on a new IP called Physint (after Death Stranding 2)

I had an idea of making games with mid-late 2000s graphics but concentrate more on gameplay, well made world, story, but it requires a lot of passion and time.

I've wanted to make my own cRPG game for the longest time, seeing how modern ones keep dissapointing me over and over. But the amount of work you have to put into it as a solo dev, even for a trashy 2d pixel art nonsense, is just soulcrushing.

It's too time consuming and require insane amount of work and also talent to create game as a solo dev it's pretty much impossible without outsourcing.
