I think it all boils down to the fact that human beings are selfish creatures (despite pretending that they really care about others and have empathy). So what we have here is people hating the fact that ugly men exist, because they're annoying and they don't see the value in them (regardless of the fact that they usually are the most useful and valuable people in society). But outright saying that ugly men should just shut up and fuck off won't allow them to appear nice and altruistic, they'd worsen their own image, so they have to spout this bullshit, they have to glaze the message of "fuck off ugly men" with fake concern and straw man arguments.

What the fuck is this "take a shower" meme anyways? I take a shower every day I'm going out and not just rotting inside my room. I believe that everyone else was the same way, right?
The only other thing I can think of is when I went through a phase when I was younger where despite showering every day and putting on deodorant afterwards I would have an extremely strong foul odor hours later because lmaopuberty. I would also stink from places that I couldn't really deodorize properly either(balls and taint). And if that is the problem that the "take a shower" meme is referring to, it is definitely genetic and taking more showers isn't going to help them.
Said problem went away entirely on it's own as I got older, and now I can go a couple days without showering and I won't really stink.
