Is the area hot and red? if so, might be phlebitis(inflammation of thevein due to infection).
if not: perhaps a varicose vein(vein valves lose structure and blood pools in the vein, causing it to bulge).
If varicose: massage your foot and keep it elevated for a while

Well, I'm quite vascular but it's only on one leg and it's abnormally large, isnt it? It also aches a bit.
I'm pretty confident that it's a vein, since I fell no pulse.

It’s fine, I’m not sure how a vein can ache, did you hurt yourself? You sure it’s not just a muscle/bone ache
No idea, I wouldn't be surprised if my "bedridden lifestyle" caught up to me.
