We have TV shows where the girls are covered in makeup and fake tan and the men are flowing with steroids and growth hormone, covered in tattoos with chiselled faces and get cosmetic surgery on the regular. We have other shows where crowds of average girls line up and are encouraged to instantly judge a man based on his looks, only then if he makes the cut they can take a glimpse at a video showing his personality.
