Everytime I say I want to leave the EU some snarky libtard tells me "well see how it worked out for the Brits they're doing really bad" (I don't know if that's true or not, I don't think they're starving and I'm willing to sacrifice to have closed borders and self-determination anyways). But then the next thing is "and they still have lots of migrants" like it's some kinda magical unstoppable force where migration is just something that happens and you can't do anything about it.

Yep they said that in the article and the minister said realize a ton of the people coming in are students, which makes sense with the UK's universities and also getting young adults.. and health care workers. Well yeah that's their excuse. But they're not idiots, they could've seen this coming 30-40-50- years ago when the birth rates were dropping. Did they do anything to promote birth? No, on the contrary, they promoted feminism, multiculturalism, pornography, climate change antinatalism etc etc. The conspiracy was keeping the birth rates down so they could have this justification.

Ya the state could just reduce their retirements and reduce health spending until things balanced out. If they only had 70% as many children as normal, then they can have 70% the benefits as normal.
