A mistake that i see even from people in these kind of spaces is to assume that every neet is a hikikomori.
Hikikomori means that you don't leave the house, neet means that you don't have a job and you don't even study.
Sure, a lot of neets are just ldaring.
But assuming that every single neet does nothing is wrong.
There are neets who go to the gym and hang out with their friends.
