Serious Need help making text based game. Very simple ideas

Me and my friend have ideas for making some simple text based games. He wants a swat sim game. I want a fantasy rpg. But we need a simple engine to be working with. I don't wanna do python or unity or shit. Is there not something like RPG maker or something like this, but simple and for text based games?

my first game was based as fuck. It was called "Gay niggers from space" and it's where you mow down a bunch of gay niggers with a laser gun like Doom guy.

You could probably use something as simple as Eclipse with java and make it work tbh. Biased cuz thats all I know how to use tho
