- Stay Grounded in Your Values.
- Engage Selectively.
- Avoid Seeking Validation.
- Be Open-Minded but Firm.
Don't suck up to any race or be a "token". You don't need to conform to every stereotype or feel inherently ashamed.
I'm not telling you to be prideful if history can't back you up, but be authentic. At the end of the day, we're all men.
|___ might tolerate you for a few reasons, but it often comes down to convenience or self-interest. You could represent a "token" who allows ___ to feel like ___'re not outright racist, giving ___ a false sense of moral superiority. Having you around might make ___ feel progressive or open-minded without genuinely committing to those values. Alternatively, ___ might appreciate certain qualities you bring to the group—like your loyalty, humour, or skills—without fully accepting you as an equal. ___' tolerance doesn’t mean ___ truly respect or value you; it’s often a superficial acceptance that can shift when it suits ___ . Understand that ___' willingness to tolerate you doesn't equate to genuine friendship. You deserve to be around people who embrace you fully, not those who only keep you close for their own benefit.|
