"For the believer, the beauty of creation speaks of the majestic beauty of his God. He worships the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Ps. 29). Examining creation brings him to praise and submit to his Creator." - John Calvin
The Ichneumonidae is a parasitoid wasp family that reproduces by injecting their eggs directly into a host’s body. After hatching, the ichneumonid larva eats its host alive: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichneumonidae#Darwin_and_the_Ichneumonidae
"The cruelty of the ichneumonids troubled philosophers, naturalists, and theologians in the 19th century, who found the parasitoid lifestyle inconsistent with the notion of a world created by a loving and benevolent God. Charles Darwin found the example of the Ichneumonidae so troubling that it contributed to his increasing doubts about the nature and existence of a Creator."
Nature must be Satan’s creation, and in this creation of him, in this absurd universe we inhabit, some people are going to get hurt, other people are going to get lucky, and you will not find any rhyme or reason in it, let alone any justice. Sadly, the universe we can observe has precisely the attributes we would expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil and no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.
Karma is not a bitch, or Karma IS a bitch AT TIMES and to SOME only. "Some are born to sweet delight, some are born to endless night."
Graceful animals like gazelles or antelopes spend their days in abject terror while lions and panthers live out theirs in imbecility, interrupted only be explosive bursts of cruelty. They slaughter weaker animals, dismember and devour the sick and the old before falling back into sleep where the only activity is that of the parasites feeding on them from within. Some of these parasites are hosts to smaller parasites, which in turn are a breeding ground for viruses.
That nature must be the creation of Satan is not only evident by the fact that there is always more agony than pleasure in this universe (with the agony of the devoured animal always far greater than the short-lived pleasure of the feasting animal!), but also because all organisms invariably produce more offspring than will survive anyway, since Mother Nature, as we so laughingly call her, is always trying to follow a "better safe than sorry" approach by creating an offspring surplus.
Finally, while sperm is cheap, eggs are expensive. From an evolutionary point of view, it kinda makes "sense", that women would only be interested in a minority of high-status men. The monopolized means of reproduction (harems) are just as natural as the monopolized capital in capitalism.
Nature is the creation of Satan and must be tamed. SHOULD be tamed. If you let capitalism run loose, you will get a process of monopolization: all capital owned in the hands of a few. Same with sexuality: a few can choose between hundreds of women, while others are forced to loneliness and masturbation. But a utopia this world will NEVER be. Satan's creation can at best be tamed and restricted, but it can never be fully abolished.
"Now this is the law of the jungle, as old and as true as the sky, And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die."
