Humanity is always under the effect of natural and sexual selection. It was only until recent times that we were able to properly control these two unrelenting forces. We created cures, eradicated diseases, and even invented ways for us to survive in hostile environments. In essence, the weak survived. As for sexual selection, enforced monogamy was our primary tool. It ensured survival of the... undesirable (according to women). Since sexual selection doesn't account for traits like intelligence, these undesirables were still much useful for society.

But with the sexual revolution, we are once again at the mercy of sexual selection. Both forces have the same end result: no genes being passed on.

In my opinon, sexual selection is even worse than natural selection because with natural selection, traits like intelligence are useful. Sexual selection still selects for 'outdated' features such as height, facial features, etc.

I wish intelligence was actually valued on the dating scene. As long as you don't have the intellectual capacity of an autist, you'll be drowning in pussy if you're Chad.
