Freedom of speech means you can say whatever you want. However it doesn't mean there are no consequences for saying the things you do.

An employer doesn't have to hire you or keep you employed just because you have the free speech to say the word nigger.

All actions have consequences. Including words.

It doesn't make sense. The people who are offended by nigger are the ones giving the word its power and then complaining about it. If people didn't murder and assault nonblack people who said the word, the word couldn't be used as a "rage button" to send anyone into a frenzy and it would lose its power.
