My theory about the seeming glass ceiling in career, jobs and social environments for short and or ugly men is this:
I believe that women especially wherever it is in their power, eg as managers or HR in jobs or in social circles leveraging their social power, are the gatekeepers of this environment to mens progression.
For example if a manager sees a low value man eg short or bald and or ugly (under 6/10 in west), doing well, being proactive, productive, being happy and social, THEY WILL DO ALMOST EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER COVERTLY AND BEHIND CLOSED DOORS INDIRECTLY TO MAKE SURE HE SURE HE DOESNT PROGRESS, HE DOESNT GET THE PROMOTION HE DOESNT RECIEVE RAISES, PRAISE, AND OR BONUSES CONFERRED TO HIS ACTUAL WORK LEVEL.
This is the TOOL OF THE FOID IN SOCIAL AREAS AND POSITIONS OF POWER, THE INDIRECT PUNCH DOWN, USING THE INDIRECT LEVERS OF POWER TO INFLUENCE THE ENVIRONMENT TO BE AGAINST OR FAILO THE LOW VALUE MAN.
This is why most low value men, DONT GET TO BE MANAGER, AND ARE HUGELY DISSATISFIED WITH "CAREERS" AND WORKING ENVIORNMENTS, WHY DONT YOU SEE MANY SHORT OR UGLY MEN AS MANAGERS ESPECIALLY IN LARGE CORPORATIONS THAT ARE SUCCESSFUL, WHY ARE SO MANY MANY GIVING UP ON TRADITIONAL CAREERS AND A HUGE INCREASE IN NEETS IN MEN
