At the moment sentiment towards the neoliberal and globalist paradigm is declining, but it's already succeeded in destroying the traditional Western way of life for younger generations to experience and has sucked the life out of the middle-class, once that happens then things start to get dire...
Mass immigration & free-market plundering of housing capital in big cities has occurred due to the greed of the baby boomer generation chasing capital gains, and it has occurred at a great cost to their respective countries & ironically their own children & grandchildren.
There will probably be another 'industrial age' but it's focus will be on automation. Many countries will be forced to ramp up welfare dramatically - it will be called a "living wage". Environmental pressures will also come into play like never before in human history.
In other words we are living in a time in human history where the future is certain to be bleaker.
Now onto the subject of inceldom:
The media and greater society are mostly in denial but a great shift in human 'mate-selection' behavior has happened recently:

The prelude started in 1994 when 'girl-power' went mainstream
The decline started in 2003 when foids started using dating websites/Myspace
The big depression occurred in 2013, about one year after Tinder launched.
Soon the media will be forced to admit that celibacy among men is dramatically increasing (I have only seen one article actually admit this so far)
Once this happens the media and political reaction will be obvious and predicable: They will respond by trying to normalize celibacy and sexlessness, and try to push the idea that a life without experiencing sex is normal and valid..
The beta uprising won't be so much a mass uprising but a winter of discontent and resentment that will fester and erode the prevailing status quo, (the sexual revolution that started in the 1960's will ultimatly fail) this will be another chapter (a big chapter) in the decline of Western civilisation.
