Kind of agree. Imo Gold/Silver/Crystal are the best, but I stopped playing Pokemon after Emerald.

Let’s not forget about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Snap on N64. Gotta love those too.

Yes, they're the best games in the series imho. I think they've aged pretty well and i definitely recommend them. But the originals still have their charm though, it's insane what they were able to do on GBC hardware.
