Recently visited my parents and heres a little bit about my mom: She has a masters in finance and has worked her entire life in a so called "secure job" making above average pay, yet even after all this time, my parents are basically broke. Living frugally, doing odd side gicks etc. unfortunately she is still pretty bad with financing herself as she has a "no risk" mindset, so she hoards all her cash on a bank account instead of gambling it or putting it into stocks.
ANYWAY - she recently has some kind of business with an "Influencer" a german Tiktoker, whos a Jestermaxxer and "Fitness Guru" and he makes 2000€ per month just with his silly ass videos. She told me "How come you havent done it, you could do so much more money, you are way better with this (Jestermaxxing)" so I talked with her first about why I despise social media and why now is not that great of a time and if they were so interested they should have maybe started 10 years ago, but they didnt give a shit.
So ultimately I told her how much money some random slut makes on OF and Insta and HOW MANY do it for a living already - after all believe it or not about 84% of all Professional Influencers - are women. It was a bit less a few years ago, were 74% were women, but women definitely have taken over and also taken over male spaces like manga and gaming,
She was baffeled, because she never really used any social media, not even youtube. First time she heard about me telling her about Cash me Outside girl who made 40 million dollars at age 18 by doing nothing more but appear as a slut on a TV show and then "Set up an Onlyfans".
Her reaction was PRICELESS:
"Why are young women even studying? They could all just do Porn and Social Media and call it a day"
