Am I the only one who despises real life foids as well as foids from media? Cant help but feel that way tbh cause their presence is often so unnatural and was not really a thing before like ten years ago. I don't necesarily want to see LE STRONG WAMMON in a medieval realistic setting, for example, but it's inevitable now. It's possible to handle this with some level of grace (like let's say Teresa in the first Kingdom Come Deliverance, she shows character without being an antipathic muh wonder woman ersatz) but i wouldn't expect game devs to do that anymore. Everyone has it's "element" in which he feels comfortable in, which is inevitably tied to one's identity and therefore gender. When a woman does "girly" shit alone or with her girlfriends she would never want an ogre such as myself around. Her internal world, comprised of symbolic identification, values... in relation with her gendered identity, has not much more place for me neither, and she lavishly basks in it with everyone's approval.

As a guy, you don't have the right to consider the things you do or enjoy as "manly", and even perceiving those things as such makes you faulty in the eyes of soyciety which wants to remind you this at every turn through modern media, general public discourse or simply women taking pride in outdoing men, sometimes with success. Therefore, unlike modern women, men are doomed to never take pride in their gender. It's solely reserved to women. That's why putting some foid in what is supposed to be a manly universe is not anecdotal at all, it's a quite strong statement and has more influence on shaping the minds than people think.
