One of the fans on my gpu is slowly dying and I already ripped out a fan on another gpu before this. Ripping out the other fan will leave my little RX470 with no cooling.

The chips are made by Nvidia. But that chip isn't something you can plug in your computer. It's these different brands that take that chip and make it into a part you can plug in the motherboard.
