University is overrated. Unless you are clever enough to do STEM and succeed then there is little point. With the amount of debt you have to go into, unless you know someone who can get you a really good job when you graduate its pointless. You'd do better off trying to get into a trade or just getting a foot in the door at a decent employer with a high school education. Yeah. You might not earn as much money but you won't be seeing a quarter of your pay disappear on student loan repayments every month for the rest of your life.

What percentage of Americans are still trying to get into a trade? I always assumed that going to college would be the new standard in America by now.
