Now I still have a 1080p 55" from 2009 or 2010, my dad bought it for me as a gift. At the time, it was an amazing TV and I was really happy. 1080p is getting really outdated though, he keeps telling me how amazing my display is and how it is better than his 4K TV

I'm not sure if you're actually been serious. Even at RTX 2080, will struggle to run games like RDR2 on it's highest settings, 4k 60FPS. You'd need a supercomputer and do you honestly believe Microsoft will partner with AMD to make the best hardware in the world for some kid to play Minecraft/Xbox....

They're developing a version for the XBOX and the developers themselves said, they're going to have to nerf so many aspects of the simulator because the PC version can not run on the Xbox - yet you expect me to believe it can even compete with the mid-range PC builds?

I said most of the time. RDR2 is one of the most demanding games out there. Games like Battlefield, Halo, Gears and Call of Duty will definitely run on 4k 60. Besides console games tend to have some great optimization. I don't think their main focus is Minecraft boyo.
