In the living room my parents hang the diplomas or degrees they had. They are the first generation in their families to have degree so in their periods having a degree was something to brag about. They always had a desire to climb the ladder and show some fake nobility and stuff.
Now, after i got my useless degree i didnt know but university sent them the physical diploma and they hang it out with the other ones. when i came back two weeks ago, depressed and raging as i am, i took it off.

And today my father "ohhhh why you take it off? some people buy their degrees, you have to be proud of yours!!!!!!!!" Yeah dad, so proud of doing what milions of people can do too, so proud.
And dont let me go talk about one of my uncles - farmer that with farmer money got a family and three kids and nice hous (2 stories) - who said to me "ohhh after your masters degree you'll get a girlfriends". Sure uncle, yeah it's exactly like when you were my age, sure....

1 They're not based, they're boomers. They think degree=women and status bro. And also my degree it's a useless humanities one. They always denied my look problems even though when people were saying "ugly" to my face, even a doctor once. Are they based, would you say? I wouldnt

2 How can i take pride of an achievement...if it isnt an achievement? I achieved...what? Delaying the moment i have to start to work an ugly job with the excuse of "studying"?

I personally wish I could wipe my ass with my own degree, time travel and just get a piece of paper from a diploma mill instead of wasting the better part of a decade of my youth going to bullshit classes and then having to work to payback $50000 in debt.
