Look at those two beauties, with a brand new case. The XP looks awesome in that white case.
Ready to rock n´roll.

I switched the monitor back again to the asus monitor, since i´ll have to change the resolution in most games that have 1280x960p since the HP Omen doesn´t support that resolution, and i get an error in return. ( NFS Carbon for ex. )

What the HP Omen has is 1280x800p which is different, the asus monitor doesn´t have that one.
If i were to put those games in 1280x720p, then everything will be compatible when switching back.
Both monitors support 1280x720p.

That´s about it.
The other case is where i keep my Win10, which is 100% custom and offline. ( a pirate bay station basically )

Mogs me. All I have is a shitty old laptop with a busted fan

Do you play console games only ?
Will that laptop overheat easily if you do anything excessive ?
That´s very likely to happen.

When I said all I have I meant ALL I have. Nothing else whatsoever. The laptop would probably die on me if I play anything heavy

I see.
Well, time to save some money buddy.
You can get games for free on the internet anyway.
What costs you, is buying new hardware.

just doxx urself

Yeah. I was considering whether to build a pc, get a gaming laptop or just fuck it and buy a console. All are super expensive to me. And buying games is something I can never do

we have the same monitor bro :feelsaww:

You know you could probably replace the fan fairly easily. You could probably find a spare on ebay either new or parted out from a broken one. Also you should really use a cooling pad anyway if you're gaming on it.

mogs me.. I've got a laptop and it's a mac

I even don't have a graphics card. JFL.

I broke the strip holder on the port where the power button strip goes. The strip is currently held down by a piece of paper I made. If I open my laptop it will fall apart and the power button will become useless.

The problem is that fan makes too much noise. And I mean way too much. Its like I am running an old printer within the laptop. It does that everytime. So I avoid playing heavy shit.

Even when it worked it only managed to play aaa titles before 2014(8 gen) on low to medium setting. Its an 8 year old model and it was medium tier even back then.

please put some nvidia or amd sticker on it.

why you flexin on here boi
(ill tell you a secret, show me ur specs, i got better ones)
1280x960p since the HP Omen doesn´t support that resolution
lol never heard of HP Omen, im using benq
which is 100% custom and offline. ( a pirate bay station basically )
pretty sure u got some malware in there, you should always keep ur win updated only for security reasons, most "hackers" tend to find vulnerabilites for win10 much often then to linux

you risk getting hacked

Nah
It takes more than that.

If you have a local pc store...
I´d recommend you to start buying each component, you´ll be a lot more satisfied afterwards if you choose the right parts.
Then bring all the parts for a geek worker to assemble for a small fee.
Usually, they charge you for €15 or something like that.
Voila!

nice rig nigga
:feelsokman:

Dude.
I don´t use internet for those two desktops.
No problem.
J3wsoft can suck my cock.

When it comes to specs.
They perform well.
I got a GTX 1060 6GB Dual, and 16GBs of RAM for the first case. ( Windows 10 )
The second case has a GTX 660, and 2GBs of RAM. ( Windows XP SP3 )

I bought an HP Omen to replace my asus monitor because of the PWM flicker.
It can´t be seen by the naked eye, but my camcorder catches it.
If i want to start making videos again, the HP Omen will be the best choice to record.
I don´t use recording software for reasons.

please put some nvidia or amd sticker on it.
:dafuckfeels:

I´ve been prepping new spots for two more computers.
Two PC builds that are almost done.
Just need a few more parts, and that´s it.
In total, i´ll have 4 computers.
1 for internet and video rendering, in case i want to upload something quick to the internet for fun. ( something i can´t do on this craptop anymore )
3 for gaming exclusively. 100% offline.
These include:
My good ol´ XP.
The most modern computer i bought in late 2017.
And a new upgraded XP to the maximum.
Having a GTX 960 2GB ( last graphics card compatible with XP ) and a I7-4790K processor, 4GBs of RAM ( 3.25GB used in 32 bit version ) and installing the OS on an SSD instead of a hard drive.
Even with a GTX 660 in my ol´ XP, i still can´t play games like Most Wanted or Carbon at max settings.
Everything is coming together.
I want to upload videos again, and they will be on Odysee. ( fuck jewtube )

can't imagine how fast XP would be on that rig!

Looks nice, reminds me of my old pc I had in 2011 since le setup is similar to it

Nice.
What headphones are those bro ?
That mouse must be NOX brand right ?
I see that your keyboard doesn´t have the numpad section, which can be useful for some games.
Do you get eyestrain from that monitor ?

The headphones are the hyperx cloud alpha s wired 7.1 surround sound, and the mouse is a glorious model o matte black.
Also yes, my keyboard does not have a numpad, i use to have one with a numpad but it took up quite a lot of space so i downgraded to a smaller keyboard.
And no, I do not get eyestrain from my monitor, its roughly about an arms length away from me, also its a 27" 1080p 165hz monitor.
I see.
Is that monitor an IPS or VA panel ?
Do you use the settings out of the box ? or do you adjust the brightness, contrast, sharpness, RGB, overdrive/speed etc...
As for me, it´s an obligation to lower down the brightness and contrast immediately, before i get eye sickness in less than 5 minutes.

I´m still using my Asus VG248QE monitor, despite having bought a Philips 27" monitor with a VA panel which made things only worse, although i also bought an HP Omen 25 ( TN panel ) which is better, and im aiming to switch over again after i finish NFS ProStreet, GTA San Andreas and NFS Rivals.

Its an IPS panel, and for the settings I have the contrast changed to a blue-ish color to prevent eyestrain, and for the brightness i keep it at max, I didnt adjust the sharpness & rgb.

Need for Speed Carbon? Unbelievably based. NFS Carbon was one of my first NFS games.
