My biggest surprise with the US-Iran situation

My biggest surprise is that USA didn't bother cooking up a false flag and pinning it on Iran this time around.
They just went ahead and bombed Iran; what are they thinking?
They have not accrued sufficient support for a sustained war with Iran (which is very likely what they're going to do in the coming months).
Like are the people at the CIA asleep?

Their excuse is no foots on the ground. They just bombed Iran, not invaded the country. But since Israel wants regime change, they have to drag the United States into launching an invasion. So you can bet that a false flag operation is already being devised. Will it be New York City this time like in 9/11? Will it be a strategic ship like the U.S.S. Liberty in 1967? This remains to be seen, but sooner or later something will happen.
