My son came out of the blue the other day furious about how he's circumcised. I've never seen him so angry and upset before as I feel we have a pretty great relationship. I'm deeply worried about him as he's never acted like this before. Anyway, during this week I did some research on circumcision and I feel like my whole foundation and knowledge as a parent is crumbling. As a parent I'm supposed to do what's best for my child and I feel like I totally screwed him over by having this procedure done to him. I've done my research, I now know I made a colossal mistake, but I also feel how he's been treating me this past week is completely unwarranted and unfair. I've tried to restart communication by telling him I was sorry outside his door, but instead of yelling I just got silence, so I also slipped him a note under his door and sent him a text message saying how sorry I was but I've yet to get a reply. How do I fix this relationship?
