Moving down hairline with hair transplant - long midface concerns

I'm getting a hair transplant soon to fix my norwooding. The men in my family don't seem to progress past NW3, so I've got the grafts to potentially move my hairline back down to a juvenile hairline, and guys with more hair generally seem to appeal to younger women which is the age demographic I'm targeting.

Bit concerned it might give me the illusion of a long midface though. My upper third is currently the smallest third in my face, with my lower third being the largest section. Middle third is in between the two in terms of length.

Should I be concerned about lowering my hairline giving me the illusion of a long midface, or will my larger lower third make this not matter too much next to the benefit of having more hair? My forehead will be noticeably smaller than the other two thirds though, given it's the smallest third on my face already. Don't know if a small forehead is really such a big deal though - most people seem to say it's only a problem if it's too big.

So, what do we think? I could move my hairline down 1cm which would restore my juvenile hairline as well as filling in my recessed temples. Or I could leave the hairline where it is now, and just fill in the temples. Either way it costs the same, so I'm only concerned about the aesthetic result here.

Pros: juvenile hairline, possible appealing more to younger women (who seem to prefer guys with more hair, all other things being equal)

Cons: My upper third, which is already the smallest third, will have the illusion of being smaller, which will make my midface appear longer in comparison. Lower third will still be the largest segment though.

Do you think the pros outweigh the cons here?

From your pictures Id say moving it down slightly should be fine, just make sure you cover your temples properly because right now they are hideous. It would also help when posting pictures like this to pull your hair back. Cant exactly tell where your hair starts from the pictures.

Yes - however that should be a temporary thing. I had liposuction on my chin a week ago to remove excess fat there, and it's still fairly swollen (you need around a month to see a difference, and like 3 months for full results).

In your case moving it down a couple millis should be absolutely fine. Covering your temples should be your number 1 priority.
It would also appear that your hair is thin, but as long as its not getting worse meh.
My hair is very similar to yours in both color and thickness, I also have exposed temples like that I just hope that it doesnt get any worse (which is uncertain since one of my cousins is between NW3 and 4).

Hmmm most hairdressers have said my hair is thick actually, but I dunno. My dad is like NW 2.5 (at age 65), and my mum's brother is like NW3 at age 62. His son is around my level of baldness (his son is a couple of years older than me). Neither of my grandfathers went bald, just had the temple recession/receeding hairline, so I think I'll probably progress my balding a bit further then stop (if not then gg I guess, it's over).

Around 1cm would restore my juvenile hairline. Yeah I'm obviously covering the temples. I've not had a HT before so still have all my grafts left. The price is the same no matter how many grafts are used so I might as well get it all done right now if it's gonna be a decent aesthetic result.

Are you using Finasterid to stop your hair loss?
If you're just looking to restore your previous hairline, then I think you should try the minox+fin+nizoral combo first. Could save you a bit of money.
But if you are looking to lower it past your natural pre-bald hairline, you should use HT.

As for your question, the pros of lowering your hairlines dwarf the cons, so go for it.

No I'm not using fin - scared of the penis side effects tbh. Also as I say, most guys in my family don't seem to progress past NW3, and I'm at NW2 already so I'll probably only lose a bit more (at which point I'll get a second HT to cover that up).  If I end up being a NW5 or whatever then yeah I guess it's over.

Minox doesn't generally work on temples unfortunately, it only has a good success rate on the crown/hairline area, and 90% of my issue is the temples.

My juvenile hairline is approx 1cm below my current hairline so I'm hoping it won't take loads of grafts. Doctor said 2k grafts for the temples, then I dunno...maybe another 2k to lower the hairline I imagine? Average guy has around 8k grafts lifetime so I'd have 4k left if my hair loss progressed further (i.e. to NW3).

Not possible legally. It's be fair to say there's a number of people who work on tourist visas and leave the country every 3 months, but you can only do that for a year or so before you'll be flagged up by immigration and denied entry.

That's not gonna be you since you haven't even graduated yet and have no experience, so no one's posting you out on a sweet expat package. Essentially yes, the only job you'll be able to do is teaching, which is actually what most people do to live there.

Its the easiest job in the world but the salary sucks. For a 5 day workweek you're looking at about $1,200-$1,500 a month. Yeah the kids can be little shits but you'll never be fired. Just let it wash over you, you're there for the pussy anyway, right? I wouldn't say it was 'hell' though as there's no management and no oversight...no one riding your ass about corporate expectations etc.

The basic cost of living for your average normalfag just getting off the plane will be like $250-$300 a month for their apartment, around $150 for food, and $50 for utilities. Call it a nice even $500 for the basic necessities. It's certainly possible to reduce this figure - me and my Thai gf had an apartment where we each paid $45 a month rent so $90 in total, and the utilities were like $15 - but you're not gonna find places like that just stepping off the plane, and you may not want to live in places like that either.
