Serious Most Insurance Plans Cover Acne Treatment But Not Cosmetic Surgery

Any idea why? It doesn't make sense to me that in one case where the skin is disfigured, but it causes no other issues, insurance covers it. But in other cases where the bone, soft tissue or facial features are disfigured, it's considered cosmetic surgery and not covered.

I wish I could afford cosmetic surgery.
Little acne though, I lucked out in that department

It's probably because foids with acne...

Insurance doesn't cover facial surgery because they have a deal with life insurance companies and want ugly men to commit suicide. Acne also doesn't cost as much to treat than facial disfigurement. Shitting on people with disfigured faces is pretty much the defining aspect of Western culture.
