you can make friends, usually by contributing some kind of effort like being funny or letting them get satisfaction out of mentoring you and pushing you to reach goals even if you're not in the mood for it.

problems:
- eventually the cat will be out of the bag that you're terrible with women, this will move you to the bottom of that person's list of friends if you weren't there already
- typical chaos will show up, like people moving, or changing jobs, or having troubles and forgetting about their commitments, or hanging out somewhere else than usual, and it's likely your friendship will vanish in this chaos because you don't have a tightly knit group, just a weak link between you and one person
